EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
A pioneer in Business Application Software Development in Sri Lanka and was the MD for 25 years of the Software arm of the DMS group of companies, a large company in Sri Lanka; Responsible for all Software Projects handled by the Company in Sri Lanka, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut and Bangladesh.
Even in the 1980's some of the Systems were Bi-lingual; i.e. English and Arabic.
He was the lead Software Architect of DMS: for the following products
DMS CuPROBE – Banking Solution
DMS AcUIRE – Integrated Financial and Inventory Mgmt Solution)
DMS TEAMICS – Tea exporters System
DMS-Payadmin – Payroll System
These products were developed in the 1980's in Wang
VS environment and later converted to run in Windows.
